Adaptor

The adaptor is the structural interface between the bucket lip and the replaceable tooth. It must resist both the bending and shear forces transmitted from the digging tooth as well as the abrasive wear from the material flow. STRUMEX adaptors are cast from alloy wear steel and heat-treated to provide a hard wear surface with a tough structural core.
