Electric Arc Furnace
The Electric Arc Furnace is the heart of STRUMEX's steelmaking operation. Steel scrap and alloy additions are melted by high-voltage electrical arcs, producing molten steel with precisely controlled chemistry. The EAF process enables rapid heat cycles and flexible batch production, making it ideal for high-manganese, chrome-molybdenum, and other specialty alloys used in mining wear parts.
